Mutation details: A neomycin resistance cassette replaced part of the second and the entire third coding exon of the gene, which encodes for a part of the kinase domain of the protein. Western blots of protein extracts from embryonic fibroblasts from homozygous mutant mice showed no detectable protein for the targeted gene.
