Mutation detailsA 148 kb region (Chr7:144,718,321144,866,450; GRCm38/mm10) including full copies of Fgf3 and Fgf4 and the first exon of Ano1 is present as a tandem duplication along with a 5bp insertion (TATAT). Ectopic expression of Fgf3 is seen in the second branchial arch in hE10.5 heterozygous embryos and in the developing urogenital ridge and adjacent to the forelimb bud of E10.5 homozygous embryos. Ectopic expression of Fgf4 is seen in paired domains close to the ventral midline adjacent to the third and fourth aches in E9.5 heterozygous and homozygous embryos. (J:338204)
