Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Chemically induced (ENU)
Mutation:    Single point mutation

Mutation detailsA C to T missense mutation causes a proline to serine change at conserved codon 269 in the second epidermal growth factor (EGF)-like repeat. (J:63716, J:67728)
Inheritance:    Dominant

Carrying this Mutation:  Mouse Strains: 2 strains available      Cell Lines: 0 lines available
Carrying any Jag1 Mutation:  78 strains or lines available
Notes
This mutation was induced by ENU treatment of a BALB/cAnNCrl male mouse that was then mated with C3H/HeNCrl females. Mapping of the dominant mutation was achieved using IVF-generated backcross progeny of the founder male x C3H females. (J:63816, J:67728)
