Mapping and Phenotype information for this QTL, its variants and associated markers

J:67657

Mapping was performed on a (OcB-9 x O20/A)F2 intercross to identify loci affecting the intensity of the mixed lymphocyte response (MLR). OcB-9 is a recombinant congenic strain derived from progenitor strains O20/A (87.5% of genome) and B20.O20 (12.5% of genome). A locus designated Alan2 (alloantigenic response 2) mapped to mouse Chromosome 4 from 59.5 cM - 71.0 cM with highest association for response to alloantigens tested at D4Mit72 (P = 0.000434 for B10 alloantigens, P = 0.000119 for BALB/c alloantigens). Colony stimulating factor 3 receptor (Csf3r) colocalizes with Alan2 and may be a possible candidate gene.
