Mapping and Phenotype information for this QTL, its variants and associated markers

J:51052

65 loci with an average spacing approximately of 25 cM were screened in 284 (C57BL/6By x NZB/B1NJ)F2 animals for linkage with corpus callosum hemisphere surface size. NZB/B1NJ has smaller corpus callosum hemisphere surface size compared to C57BL/6By. QTLs affecting corpus callosum hemisphere surface size, Ccrs1 and Ccrs2, were identified on mouse Chromosome 1 and mouse Chromosome 4, respectively. Ccrs1 maps to 81.6 cM - 106.3 cM on Chromosome 1 with a peak LOD score of 4.23 at D1Mit14. Ccrs2 maps to 57.6 cM - 78.5 cM on Chromosome 4 with a peak LOD score of 2.72 at D4Mit12. Two-way analyses showed significant interaction between Ccrs1 and Ccrs2.
