Mapping and Phenotype information for this QTL, its variants and associated markers

J:63737

(C57BL/6J x A/J)F1 mice were backcrossed to C57BL/6JOlaHsd mice and the offspring were immunized with birch pollen extract in an effort to scan for loci responsible for immediate cutaneous hypersensitivity. Mapping progentiors A/J and C57BL/6J are low and high responders respectively. 89 offspring were informative to show an association of the hypersensitivity phenotype (symbol Ichs) with D6Mit105 with a LOD score of 2.5.
