Estq4 participates in interactions with Estq1 and Estq3.
Mapping and Phenotype information for this QTL, its variants and associated markersJ:52898To understand the overall genetic control of estradiol regulated uterine response, the authors performed multiple trait analysis for both QTLs contributing to uterine weight and infiltrating eosinophils. Linkage was found to marker loci D4Mit6 (Estq1; LRT = 15.05), D5Mit296 (Estq2; LRT = 17.84), D10Mit180 (LRT = 16.02) and D11Mit67 (Estq3; LRT = 14.38; [a] = 0.10 and [a] = 0.05 thresholds equal 14.60 and 6.72, respectively). Based on the significance of D10Mit180 eosinophil infiltration, significant interaction of D10Mit180 in estradiol regulated responses, and the significance of the locus in mutilpe trait analysis, the QTL linked to D10Mit180 has been designated as Estq4. |
