Mapping and Phenotype information for this QTL, its variants and associated markers

J:17972

Morphine consumption was assessed in 606 F2 mice from a C57BL/6J x DBA/2J intercross. A subset of the 606 progeny were tested for QTL (quantitative trait analysis).

An increase in the preference for morphine consumption, Mop2, was mapped between flanking microsatellite markers D10Mit28 and D10Mit3 on Chromosome 10 with a lod score of 20.0.
