Parent Cell Line:  CCE/EK.CCE (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  129S/SvEv-Gpi1c
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout)
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsA genomic fragment containing exons 1, 2 and 3 was replaced with a neomycin selection cassette. Northern blot analysis on RNA derived from LPS-induced splenocytes of homozygous mice demonstrated that no detectable transcript was produced from this allele. ELISA assays confirmed that no detectable protein was produced in homozygous mice. (J:17249, J:47064)
