Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Chemically induced (other)
Mutation:    Single point mutation

Mutation detailsThis mutation was identified in an EMS mutagenesis screen for infertile mice. The molecular defect is an A-to-T transversion at the AG splice acceptor sequence of intron 11. Two aberrantly spliced transcripts are expressed from this allele, both resulting in a frameshift of the wild-type sequence and a premature stop codon.
Inheritance:    Recessive
