origin
Germline Transmission:  Earliest citation of germline transmission: J:69290
Parent Cell Line:  AB2.2 (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  129S7/SvEvBrd-Hprt1b-m2
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout)
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsPart of exon 4 and part of intron 4 was replaced with a loxP flanked neomycin resistance cassette. Northern blot analysis on RNA derived from homozygous mice demonstrated that no detectable transcript was produced from this allele. Western blot analysis on brain lysates derived from homozygotes confirmed that no detectable protein is expressed from this allele. (J:69290)
