origin
Germline Transmission:  Earliest citation of germline transmission: J:33951
Parent Cell Line:  E14.1 (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  129P2/OlaHsd
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout)
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsA neomycin selection cassette replaced a region encoding the cysteine finger of the CR1 domain, the entire CR2 domain, and the ATP-binding site of the CR3 domain. Western blot analysis of embryonic fibroblasts derived from hemizygous mice indicated an absence of protein encoded by the targeted locis and showed normal levels of protein produced by an adjacent locus.
