• Mutation details: A PGK-neo construct replaced exon 2 and a portion of exon 3. The targeted allele was shown to produce two truncated transcripts via Northern blot and RT-PCR analyses. Further RT-PCR analysis using various probes showed that the aberrant transcripts lacked the essential ribosome binding domain as well as the initiation codon. (J:67359)
