Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout)
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsPart of exon 4 and all of exons 5-7 were replaced with a neomycin resistance gene via homologous recombination resulting in deletion of the last zinc finger domain and the entire TRAF domain. Absence of gene expression in homozygous mutants was verified by Western blot analysis of mouse embryonic fibroblast (MEFs) derived from E12.5 embyros. (J:76067)
