description
Allele Type:    Targeted
Mutations:    Insertion, Nucleotide substitutions

Mutation detailsThis allele was generated by breeding mice carrying Lattm2Lov with transgenic mice expressing cre recombinase via the EIIa promoter. Expression of cre resulted in the excision of the floxed neo cassette, leaving the tyrosine to phenylalanine mutations at positions identified as being critical for the binding of signaling molecules (136, 175, 195, and 235) intact. Flow cytometric analysis of thymocytes from homozygous mutants showed reduced levels of protein. (J:77695)
