Mutation
origin
Germline Transmission:  Earliest citation of germline transmission: J:54198
Parent Cell Line:  J1 (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  129S4/SvJae
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout)
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsThe entire coding region of the gene was deleted and replaced with a PGK-neo cassette via homologous recombination. Northern blot analysis of RNA from the duodenum, jejunum, and colon of homozygous mutant animals did not detect gene expression. In situ hybridization of E9.5 homozygous mutant embryos also failed to detect gene transcripts. (J:54198)
