Parent Cell Line:  H1 (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  129S2/SvPas
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsThe gene was disrupted by insertion of a neomycin resistance cassette into exon 3 encoding the first zinc finger domain via homologous recombination. RT-PCR analysis of ovary mRNA from mutant animals detected 3 faint RNA species all lacking exon 3. Immunohistochemical analysis of ovary sections from homozygous mutant animals did not detect protein product. (J:64426)
