Mutation details: The endogenous locus was modified via homologous recombination and subsequent in vitro cre-mediated excision to generate a floxed version of Ightm2Cgn. The region flanked by single loxP sites contained the inserted variable region derived from a 4-hydroxy-3-nitrophenyl acetyl binding antibody (B1-8) as well as the Igh intron enhancer (Emu or Rr150). Flow cytometry verified cell surface expression on peripheral B cells obtained from heterozygous and homozygous mice.
