• Mutation details: A human THY1 promoter and a human APP sequence carrying the Swedish double mutation K670M and N671L found in Alzheimer's disease patients was used for the transgene. In situ hybridization analysis of brain sections from transgenic animals showed the highest levels of transgene expression in the neocortex and hippocampus. (J:44603)
