Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (No functional change, Recombinase)
Mutation:    Insertion

Nkx2-5tm2(cre)Rph expression driven by 1 gene

Mutation detailsSequence encoding cre recombinase adjoined to an IRES was inserted into the 3' UTR of the endogenous locus via homologous recombination. A single frt site remained in the UTR after an frt-flanked hygromycin selection cassette was excised. A lack of observed allele complementation indicated that the inserted sequence did not significantly affect expression of the endogenous locus. (J:80725)
