Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted
Mutation:    Nucleotide substitutions

Mutation detailsThis allele is derived from Grin1tm1Slab by mating mutant animals to cre deleter strain TgN(CMV-cre)1Cgn, resulting in removal of the floxed neo cassette in intron 18 and allowing the asparagine to arginine subsitution at amino acid 598 (N598R) to be expressed. Western blot analysis showed that expression of the mutant allele is comparable to that of wild-type. (J:82670)
Inheritance:    Dominant
