Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Modified isoform(s))
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsThe floxed genomic fragment containing a modified EDA exon was excised from Fn1tm1Feb via in vivo cre mediated recombination in the germline. RNase protection and RT-PCR analysis showed that while transcripts encoding other isoforms were transcribed from the mutant allele, the EDA exon was constituitively excluded in homozygous mutant mice.
