origin
Germline Transmission:  Earliest citation of germline transmission: J:75359
Parent Cell Line:  E14.1 (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  129P2/OlaHsd
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsThe entire gene coding region was deleted and replaced with a Junb floxed PGK-neo knock-in cassette via homologous recombination. The floxed neo cassette was removed by transient expression of cre recombinase in correctly targeted ES cells. Northern blot analysis confirmed the expression pattern of the Junb knock-in sequence follows that of the endogenous gene. (J:75359)
