Strain of Origin:  (DBA x C57BL/6)F1
Transgene
description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Recombinase)
Mutation:    Insertion

Tg(Foxa3-cre)1Khk expression driven by 1 gene

Mutation detailsThe transgenic construct consists of a 170 kb fragment containing a modified Foxa3 locus in which exon 2 has been replaced with an IRES-cre cassette. Cre activity was first detected 8.5 dpc in the anterior intestinal portal, and later in the entire gut endoderm from stomach to colon. Efficient cre-mediated recombination was demonstrated in the stomach, liver, pancreas, and colon. (J:96332)
