Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Chemically induced (ENU)
Mutation:    Nucleotide substitutions

Mutation detailsThis phenotypic mutant was identified in an ENU mutagenesis screen at the Baylor College of Medicine. The ENU mutation resulted in a nonsense A to T mutation at c.1273 within exon 12 resulting in an R425X substitution. and a predicted truncation. Real-time PCR showed markedly reduced mRNA in mutant mice. (J:161519)
Inheritance:    Recessive
