Mapping and Phenotype information for this QTL, its variants and associated markers

J:83220

Interval mapping was performed on a (BALB/c x C57BL/6)F1 x (C3H x DBA/2)F1 cross to identify QTLs affecting the level of T cell subsets in virgin and mated animals at 8 and 18 months of age. A QTL associated with P-glycoprotein positive CD4 T cell subsetlevels, Pcd4ts2, mapped to 30 cM (D13Mit64) on mouse Chromosome 13 and a QTL associated with CD4 T cell subset levels, Cd4ts6, mapped to 9 cM (D13Mit57) on mouse Chromosome 13 with statistical significance of P<0.05. Pcd4ts2 is associated with P-glycoprotein positive CD4 T cell levels in 8 month old mated mice. Cd4ts6 is associated with CD4 T cell levels in 18 month old virgin mice.
