description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Hypomorph)
Mutations:    Insertion, Single point mutation

Mutation detailsA G-to-A mutation was introduced into codon 89 to alter this residue in the corresponding protein from a glutamate to a lysine through homologous recombination. A loxP-flanked neomycin selection cassette also introduced into intron 2 was deleted by cre-mediated recombination, resulting in a single loxP site remaining in the intron. This allele expresses a mutant protein and is thought to be hypomorphic. (J:69138)
