Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsThe first ATG codon of the gene was mutated to an EcoRV site, with an enhanced GFP gene and a neomycin resistance cassette being inserted into the EcoRV site. Gene inactivation was confirmed by a lack of product from RT-PCR of Peyer's patch RNA. GFP expression was observed in B cells expressing IgA, and in other leukocyte subsets including neutrophils.
