Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout, Reporter)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsThe third intron was disrupted by the insertion of a PLAP secretory gene trap vector containing a splice acceptor site followed by Beta-geo, an IRES, placental alkaline phosphatase, and a PGK-1 polyA tail. Some residual RNA expression is seen in RNA protection analysis, however in immunostaining analysis no protein is detected in homozygous mutant mice. (J:89780)
