Germline Transmission:  Earliest citation of germline transmission: J:90543
Parent Cell Line:  P1 (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  129S2/SvPas
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout, Reporter)
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsA 22 bp segment of exon 1 was replaced with a rabbit beta globin intron, an enhanced GFP sequence and an SV40 polyadenylation signal via homologous recombination. Both mRNA and protein were undetectable in fetal liver from homozygous mice. GFP expression correlated well with endogenous Sfpi1 expression. (J:90543)
