Mutation details: Sequence coding for the Itgb4 cytoplasmic domain up to amino acid 1355, a stop codon, SV40 pA signal sequences, and a neomycin resistance gene cassette were inserted immediately downstream of the exon encoding the transmembrane segment of the protein. Immunoprecipitation and FACS analysis on primary keratinocytes indicated that the mutant protein is expressed at the cell surface.
