Mutation details: A cassette containing IRES-lacZ-MCneomycin replaced the 3' end of exon 4. RT-PCR analysis of total RNA from mutant embryonic trophoblast stem cells demonstrated a lack of all reported splice variants. Western blot showed the complete absence of protein.
