Line T3 was also generated. Transgenic mice from both this line and line T3 express very high levels of mutant human A30P alpha synuclein in the brain, show significant somal accumulation of this protein, but do not develop neurological abnormalities. Even at advanced age, expression of the transgene in these mice does not lead to accumulation of ubiquitin in neurons.
