Mapping and Phenotype information for this QTL, its variants and associated markersJ:96612Antibody response to factor VIII and factor IX is a complication to treatments for hemophilia A and hemophilia B. Loci associated with antibody response to human factor IX were mapping using mouse models. Human factor IX was expressed in 26 AXB and BXA recombinant inbred strains using an adenoviral vector. Parental strain C57BL/6J is a low antibody responder to human factor IX whereas parental strain A/J is a high antibody responder. Linkage analysis was performed using a panel of 753 polymorphic markersmapped between A/J and C57BL/6J. Significant linkage to antibody response to human factor IX mapped to 17.4 cM on mouse Chromosome 17 near D17Mit62 with LOD=4.8. This locus is designated Arfix (antibody response to human factor IX). Arfiv maps very close to the H2 locus.Suggestive linkage to anti-human factor IX mapped to 71 cM on mouse Chromosome 1 near D1Mit100 with LOD=2.6. Genes mapping to this region include Il10 (69.9 cM) and Ptprc (74 cM). Previously identified immune response QTLs mapping nearthis locus are Tir3b (71 cM), Sle8 (71.4 cM), and Ity2 (71.5).Suggestive linkage to anti-human factor IX mapped to 64 cM on mouse Chromosome 10 near D10Mit180 with LOD=2.3. Genes mapping to this region are Ifng (67 cM), Il22 (67 cM), and Tmevp2 (67 cM). |
