Mutation details: A targeting vector was created to introduce a stop codon at amino acid 150. A neomycin resistance cassette was also included in the vector for selection purposes. Absence of transcript was confirmed by RT-PCR of total RNA from mutants. Flow cytometry further showed absence of protein on the surface of stimulated mutant splenocytes.
