description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Reporter)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsTransgenic mice were made with a series of constructs in which the acrosin promoter and varying lengths of coding sequence were fused to the EGFP gene. The transgenic line entered here includes the Acr promoter, signal peptide, and N-terminal peptide. This is one of six such lines. Another construct fused only the Acr promoter to EGFP (3 lines). The third construct was made up of the Acr promoter, and signal peptide fused to EGFP (4 lines). The fourth construct was made up of the Acr promoter, signal peptide and a mutated N-terminal peptide in which there is an N to Q substitution (6 lines). (J:97291)
