Transgene
description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Humanized sequence, Inserted expressed sequence)
Mutation:    Insertion

Tg(Ins2-VEGFC)#Pepr expresses 1 gene

Tg(Ins2-VEGFC)#Pepr expression driven by 1 gene

Mutation detailsThe transgene was constructed by cloning the human vascular endothelial growth factor C cDNA between the ~695 bp BamHI-XbaI fragment of Rip (rat insulin II promoter) and the SV40 small T antigen intron and polyadenylation signal. Two founder lines generated: family 23 and family 24. Mice of "family 23" carry one copy of the transgene. Mice of "family 24" carry four to six copies of the transgene. The pound symbol (#) is used when no line is specified and/or lines are pooled. (J:67489)
