Notes
Homozygous MEFs infected with viral cre stop proliferating, display increased apoptosis, and show G2/M and S phase cell cycle arrest; however, no increase in chromosomal instability is seen. Similar results are seen when MEFs are infected with a tamoxifen inducible cre/estrogen receptor construct. (J:99406)
