Parent Cell Line:  TT2 (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  (C57BL/6NCrlj x CBA/JNCrlj)F1
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout, Reporter)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsCrossing Gad1tm1Tama with mice expressing cre recombinase in the germline removed the loxP-flanked neo. Western blot demonstrated that the cerebral cortex contained more GFP than the cerebral cortex of animals with the neo present. Fluorescent microscopy confirmed the same findings in mutant brain samples. (J:86389)
