description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsThe targeting event results in the disruption of exon 1 by insertion of a LacZ gene (in-frame with the initiation codon) and neomycin selection cassette without deletion of any of the endogenous gene sequence. T cells in this strain retain high levels of P2X7 activity. The 13a isoform is expressed in these mice but no expression of the 13b or 13c isoforms is detected.
