Mapping and Phenotype information for this QTL, its variants and associated markers

J:7027

Susceptibility to radiation induced leukemia is determined by locus Rvil1. The assignment of this locus to Chromosome 2, between H-3 and a, was made by the analysis of susceptible congenic B10.CE-H3bb/(30NX)SnDcr mice in which the locus Rvil1 was cotransferred from CE/J to the C57BL10/J background. An association of Chromosome 2 gene Ly-11 with Rvil-1 was also observed from progeny involving F2 crosses between A/J and C57BL/6J mice.
