Parent Cell Line:  Not Specified (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  129X1/SvJ
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout)
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsThe genomic region encoding the secretion signal and part of the first Ig-domain were replaced with a lacZ and neo cassette. LacZ expression was detected in the accessory olfactory bulb, anterodorsal thalamic nuclei, inferior colliculi, layer 5 of the cerebral cortex and the cerebellum. Western blot failed to detect protein in mutant brains. (J:61081, J:104862)
