Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Hypomorph)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsA cassette containing a tetracycline-controlled transactivator (tTA), and a tetracycline responsive element (TRE) was inserted upstream of the translation start site in exon 2. Blm expression in mutants was present in the absence of dox. Upon administration of dox, expression was reduced, however, leaky expression was found in all tissues examined. (J:106458, J:107374)
