Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted
Mutation:    Nucleotide substitutions

Mutation detailsThe sequence of codon 58 was altered from CGC to GCC resulting in an arginine to alanine amino acid substitution (p.R58A) that disrupts PtdIns3P binding. A self-excising floxed tACE-Cre expression module and neo cassette was inserted into intron 3, and was removed by cre-mediated excision specifically in the testis during breeding of the chimeras.
