• Mutation details: The Mbp promoter region was fused to the cre gene carrying a nuclear localization signal. This transgenic insertion also carries a chicken actin promoter (CAG) promoter element and EGFP. Expression of EGFP and cre is found within the inner surface of the ear, brain, heart, lungs, liver, pancreas, spleen, kidney, intestine and skeletal muscle. (J:72648)
