description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Inducible, Recombinase)
Inducer:    tamoxifen
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion

Ndor1Tg(UBC-cre/ERT2)1Ejb expression driven by 1 gene

Mutation detailsThis Cre-ERT2 transgenic mouse line was generated via lentitransgenesis; a self-inactivating lentiviral vector was designed with the human ubiquitin C (UBC) promoter sequence upstream of a Cre-ERT2 fusion gene (Cre recombinase fused to a G400V/M543A/L544A triple mutation of the human estrogen receptor ligand binding domain). Cre-ERT2-expressing lentivirus were microinjected into the perivitelline space of one-cell zygotes (129SvEv;C57BL/6 mixed genetic background). Mice display tamoxifen-inducible Cre activity in all tissue types. Line 1 inserted into the gene at 25249816-25249821 (Build GRCm38/mm10) resulting in a 5 bp deletion. (J:123200)
