Mutation details: A construct containing the first exon, first intron, and first 6 bases of the second exon of the human APOE gene, followed by the APOE cDNA was placed downstream of the rat gamma neuronal enolase 2 promoter. Downstream of the cDNA was the noncoding region of the fourth exon and 112 bp of the 3'-flanking sequence of APOE containing the polyadenylation signal. The construct was injected into one-cell ICR embryos.
