description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Modified regulatory region)
Mutation:    Disruption caused by insertion of vector

Mutation detailsThe light chain intronic enhancer Ekappa, located between Igkj and Igkc gene segment clusters, was replaced with 0.8 kb XbaI fragment of the Igh locus that spans the entire heavy chain intronic enchancer element (Emu or Rr150) and flanking matrix attachment regions. A floxed neomycin selection cassette was included downstream. The neomycin selection cassette was removed by transient Cre recombinase expression. (J:124407)
