Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout)
Mutation:    Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsBy homologous recombination a loxP site was inserted 5' of exon2, followed by a NeoR cassette and a 3' loxP site. The resulting mutant mice, Cd274tm1Lex, were crossed with protamine-Cre transgenic mice to delete exon 2 containing the translational start site. Flow cytometric protein expression analysis confirmed absence of targeted protein expression. (J:126829)
