description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Inserted expressed sequence)
Mutation:    Insertion

Tg(Ins2-H2-Ead,Ins2-H2-Eb1b)187-7Bri expresses 2 genes

Mutation details2 independent constructs consisting of a 600 bp fragment of the 5' sequences driving the H2-Ead and a 600 bp fragment of 5' sequence driving the H2-Eb1b gene were coinjected into fertilized pronuclei. Four founders with germline transmission were identified and 3 (187-1, 187-7, and 190-5) were further studied. 187-7 (male) was chosen as representative, since it apparently characterized most thoroughly.
